Our “safe water schools”, “safe water hospitals” and “safe water villages” programs provide access to clean drinking water at Tanzanian schools, hospitals and villages.

The implementation of a water project is supervised by our Tanzanian project manager Peter Ndumwa and his team. The supervision continues even after its completion. Wherever possible, we conclude a maintenance contract so that the facilities become cost-neutral over time.

Peter Ndumwa is also responsible for the training and coaching of children and adults at the different project locations. These wash workshops combine simple technical solutions with educational activities that raise the participants’ awareness for sensitive issues like water, sanitation and hygiene.

Within the scope of all our projects, we work closely with the local population, but also with regional educational and health authorities.
